While enclosed trailers are a popular piece of equipment, they’re not always the easiest models to load and tow. If you've recently purchased an enclosed trailer and are looking for a few helpful accessories to make hauling your model a bit more convenient, you’ve come to the right place! Below, we’ve listed a few handy items that will make loading, towing, and transporting your enclosed trailer— and all of its freight—a breeze.

Towing Accessories

If you’re planning on piling your enclosed trailer high with various cargo and freight, you’ll want to purchase a handy set of sway bars. These are perfect for reducing sway on windy days, or with heavy freight, and will make towing your enclosed trailer much easier! For your safety, we also advise grabbing a helpful set of tow chains and hitch pins. While the pins should help keep your trailer firmly attached to your vehicle, if the worst were to happen your tow chains would ensure your trailer stays close, and that there are no accidents out on the open road.

Cargo Accessories

Enclosed trailers don’t often come with tie-down anchors or hooks to help keep cargo in place. Instead, you’re expected to stack your items in such a way that they don't slip and slide around as you drive. However, if you’re only carrying a few items, you may not be able to adequately stack them so they don’t go flying at every turn or stop. If you’re carrying some smaller objects, a cargo net is a perfect solution for keeping cargo in place. However, for larger freight, you’ll want to use a few inexpensive D-ring anchors and tie-down straps to keep everything where it should be.
