Zion National Park
One of the best things about Utah is that there is still a lot of land that’s preserved from its days as part of the untamed west. So when it comes to experiencing what life must have been like before the noise and commotion of modern-day life took over, this is the state you want to visit. One place where you can experience this is Zion National Park. This is an iconic part of the country whose images are almost synonymous with the Wild West.
You’ll have over 229 square miles to explore, and you won't have any shortage of things to do, since there are many canyons, hiking trails and events and activities to occupy your days. Like all national parks, you’ll want to stay up to date on all closures and alerts so you can stay safe while you’re out enjoying this spectacular region.
If you want to stay at this park overnight, you can choose from some of the most luxurious camping spots to the most rugged. There are plenty of non-RV options but you can also take your vehicle to one of the many RV-friendly sites that are often just a short drive from the park itself. This is a popular location for many travelers though so you definitely want to make reservations before you make the trip!
Spanish Trail RV Park
Located just a few-minutes ride away from some other iconic state parks of Utah, Spanish Trail RV Park is situated in another famous region of the state. You’ll be near Dead Horse State Park, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. This is the perfect place for those who love to gaze upon breathtaking natural vistas.
When you’re not out enjoying nature, there’s a lot that you can do at the park itself. This park comes complete with clean and landscaped sites (mostly pull-thrus) as well as a heated pool and spa. It also boasts a community that you’ll be happy to be part of. Just ask one of the many campers who have visited this area and rave about their experience.
Spanish Trail RV Park is located just south of the city of Moab, home of Utah State University. There are many fun attractions in the area, including the Elk Mountain Mission, the Museum of Moab and plenty of rental places to help you explore the region in style, either with a jeep, UTV or some other off-road vehicle.
Pony Express RV Resort & Campground
The most famous tourist attraction of Utah is, of course, the Great Salt Lake. This is the largest saltwater lake in the western hemisphere and also the eighth largest salt lake in the world! If you’re visiting the state, this is one place that you’re going to want to explore. Luckily, near the southeastern corner of the lake, just north of Salt Lake City, is Pony Express RV Resort & Campground.
You’ll find a good number of amenities available at this park, including clean sites, a clubhouse and pool, bike rentals, recreational fields and much more. You’ll also be just a short drive away from the big city where you can check out the exciting nightlife of the state, as well as one of the only US lakes that will help you stay afloat without really trying.
These are just a few of the places that you might like to explore in Utah! There’s so much more to do and see here and many places that’ll keep you close to nature yet comfortable and relaxed.
